How to Adjust Shape Direction in AppSections

The "Shape Direction" setting in AppSections allows you to define the orientation of the shape for media, buttons, and groups. This setting provides flexibility in customizing the appearance of your elements by orienting the shapes according to the context of the layout, enhancing the overall visual appeal and consistency with your brand style. Here is how you can adjust the shape direction:

Shape Direction

Purpose: This setting allows you to choose the orientation of the shape applied to an element (media, buttons, or groups) from pre-defined options in the brand style. Usage: Select from five options to set the desired shape orientation.

Shape Direction Options

1. Inherit: Applies the Shape Standard Direction defined in the active brand style.

2. Top: Applies the shape with an orientation towards the top.

3. Right: Applies the shape with an orientation towards the right.

4. Bottom: Applies the shape with an orientation towards the bottom.

5. Left: Applies the shape with an orientation towards the left.

Steps to Adjust Shape Direction

1. Select the Block/Group/Button:

   • Open your Shopify theme editor.

   • Navigate to the specific block, group, or button where you want to adjust the shape direction.

2. Locate the Shape Direction Setting:

   • In the settings for the block, group, or button, find the Shape Direction option.

3. Select Shape Direction Option:

   • Choose one of the five options based on your design preferences:
