How to Adjust Video Style in AppSections Block Video Settings

The "Style" setting in AppSections Block Video settings allows you to define whether a video appears with a poster (an image with a play button) or plays automatically. This setting provides flexibility in how videos are presented to users, enhancing the user experience and visual appeal. Here is how you can adjust the video style:

Video Style

Purpose: This setting allows you to choose how a video is presented—either with a poster image or autoplay.

Usage: Select from two options to set the desired video style.

Video Style Options

1. Poster: The video appears with a poster image and a play button. Users must click the play button to start the video.

2. Autoplay: The video plays automatically when it loads.

Steps to Adjust Video Style

1. Select the Block Video:

   • Open your Shopify theme editor.

   • Navigate to the specific block video where you want to change the style.

2. Locate the Style Setting:

   • In the block video settings, find the Style option.

3. Select Video Style:

   • Choose one of the two options based on your preferences:

     • Poster: To display the video with a poster image and a play button.

     • Autoplay: To have the video play automatically.

Setting a Poster Image

If you choose the Poster option, you will need to select a poster image.

1. Locate the Select Poster Setting:

   • After selecting the Poster style, find the Select Poster option in the block video settings.

2. Add or Select a Poster Image:

   • Click on Select Poster.

   • In the modal that appears, either Add Image or select an existing image from your library.

   • Click Done to confirm your selection.

1. Preview Changes:

   • After selecting the video style and setting a poster image (if applicable), preview your store to see how the video looks.
