How to Adjust Video Controls in AppSections Block Video Settings

The "Controls" setting in AppSections Block Video settings allows you to define the appearance and functionality of the video controls. This setting provides flexibility in how users interact with videos, enhancing the user experience and visual appeal. Here is how you can adjust the video controls:

Video Controls

Purpose: This setting allows you to choose the appearance and functionality of video controls.

Usage: Select from five options to set the desired video control style.

Video Controls Options

1. None: No controls are displayed. Users must click on the video to play or stop it.

2. Style 1: All controls are displayed with the timeline bar above the icons, including time, speed, volume, picture-in-picture (PIP), and full screen.

3. Style 2: All controls are displayed with the timeline bar below the icons, including time, speed, volume, picture-in-picture (PIP), and full screen.

4. Style 3: All controls are displayed except the timeline bar, including time, speed, volume, picture-in-picture (PIP), and full screen.

5. Style 4: Only the timeline bar is displayed, with no other icons.

Steps to Adjust Video Controls

1. Select the Block Video:

   • Open your Shopify theme editor.

   • Navigate to the specific block video where you want to change the controls.

2. Locate the Controls Setting:

   • In the block video settings, find the Controls option.

3. Select Video Control Style:

   • Choose one of the five options based on your preferences:

     • None: No controls are displayed.

     • Style 1: All controls with the timeline bar above the icons.

     • Style 2: All controls with the timeline bar below the icons.

     • Style 3: All controls except the timeline bar.

     • Style 4: Only the timeline bar is displayed.
