Switching styles in your Shopify store using the AppSections application is simple and efficient. Follow the steps below to move and change styles within your store:
Access AppSections Styles:
Open your Shopify theme editor.
Navigate to the AppSections Styles category located at the top of the left-hand pane, above the header.
Install Multiple Styles:
Ensure you have more than one style installed. To install additional styles, go to the Style Library in the AppSections application and click the Install Style button on the styles you want to add.
Understand Style Visibility:
The first installed style is the active one. Subsequent styles are typically hidden by default. We recommend keeping additional styles hidden to avoid conflicts.
Change the Active Style:
To switch to a different style, first, unhide the second style. Click on the eye icon next to the style to make it visible.
Drag and drop the newly visible style to the top of the list, making it the first style.
Hide the old style you want to deactivate by pressing the eye.
Activate the New Style:
Once the new style is in the first position, your site will automatically update to reflect the new style. There may be a visual issue before saving. If the style does not display correctly, saving will resolve the problem.
Now save your changes by pressing save in the top right-hand corner of the theme editor.
Keep Styles Hidden: For best performance and to avoid conflicts, keep non-active styles hidden.
Preview Before Applying: Consider previewing styles to ensure they fit your store’s aesthetic before making them active.
