A group block in AppSections is a type of Shopify section block designed to contain other blocks within it. It functions as a parent element to its child content blocks, allowing for structured and nested layout designs. This hierarchical structure makes it easier to manage complex page designs by grouping related elements together.

What is a Group Block?

Group blocks serve as parent elements that can hold multiple content blocks, such as text, images, buttons, and more. This setup allows for greater flexibility and organization in designing pages, enabling you to create complex layouts with ease. Using Group Blocks in AppSections

AppSections provides a variety of Group blocks that you can use to build and customize your Shopify store pages. Here’s how to integrate and use them:

1. Install a Section with Group Block from AppSections:

   • Open the AppSections app and navigate to the "Library Prebuilt Sections".

   • Browse the sections, and when you find one you like, click "Add to Favorites" or "Install".

   • Clicking "Install" will automatically add the section to your active theme in Shopify.

2. Add the Group Block in Shopify Editor:

   • Open your Shopify admin panel.

   • Go to "Online Store" > "Themes", and click "Customize" on your active theme.

   • In the theme editor, select the page template you want to edit.

   • Click "Add section" and use the search bar to find the section you installed from AppSections by name.

   • Select the section to add it to your page.

3. Add the Group Block within the Section:

   • In the Shopify theme editor, click on the section where you want to add the group block.

   • Click "Add block" within the section.

   • Use the search bar to find the group block by name.

   • Select the group block to add it to the section.

4. Customize the Group Blocks:

   • Style Them: Modify the design elements to match your brand’s aesthetics.

   • Change Text and Images: Replace placeholder content with your own text and images.

   • Add and Organize Content Blocks: Within the group block, add other blocks (e.g., text, image, button) as needed. You can drag and drop these content blocks to organize them within the group block.

   • Link eCommerce Elements: Connect the blocks to your Shopify products or collections, making them interactive and functional eCommerce elements.
